Description
Description
The Pacific G4 packs 2,500 lumens into a fixture that's only 7/8" tall. That low profile is the whole point. It fits in engine rooms, lockers, and utility spaces where a standard fixture won't clear the hatch or the machinery above it. The 316 stainless steel housing stands up to salt air and washdowns, so it keeps working in the spots that punish cheaper lights.
Key features
- Bright, even work light. 2,500 lumens cover an engine room without dark corners or hot spots.
- Fits tight spaces. A 7/8" (22mm) height clears low hatches and packed compartments.
- Corrosion-resistant build. 316 stainless steel housing made for salt air and washdowns.
- Two power options. 10-30V DC for direct vessel wiring, or 120-277V AC for shore and generator power.
- Color temperature choice. 5000K daylight white or 6500K cool white for clear visibility.
- Runs cool and efficient. An 18W LED draws little power and adds little heat to the compartment.
- Built by a marine manufacturer. DRSA has designed and supplied marine lighting since 1988.
Choose DC or AC power
The Pacific G4 comes in two power types, and the difference changes how you wire it.
The DC versions run on 10-30V DC. They wire straight into your vessel's 12V or 24V system with no extra hardware.
The AC versions run on 120-277V AC, which covers shore power and most generator output. These versions ship with a separate power supply that converts AC down to the low voltage the light runs on. That power supply mounts externally, away from the fixture. Because the housing sits only 7/8" tall, there's no room for an internal driver, so the supply lives in a nearby accessible spot and feeds the fixture through its wiring. Plan that mounting location before you install. You'll pick the AC version that matches your setup, either 120-277VAC with 12VDC output or 120-277VAC with 24VDC output.
Where it works
The Pacific G4 is built for the cramped, hard-working spaces below deck.
- Boat and yacht engine rooms
- Generator and equipment spaces
- Lazarettes and utility lockers
- Workbenches and machinery areas on commercial vessels
- Any tight-clearance install where a standard fixture won't fit

Frequently asked questions
Do the AC versions of the Pacific G4 need an external power supply?
Yes. The 120-277V AC versions include a power supply that converts AC to the low-voltage DC the light runs on. It mounts externally, away from the fixture, because the 7/8" housing has no room for an internal driver. Plan a nearby, accessible spot for it during the install.
What's the difference between the DC and AC versions?
The DC versions run on 10-30V DC and wire directly into your boat's 12V or 24V system. The AC versions run on 120-277V AC for shore or generator power and come with the external supply described above. Pick DC for standard vessel wiring and AC when you're powering from shore or a genset.
How tall is the Pacific G4?
It's 7/8" (22mm) tall, one of the lowest-profile engine room lights you can buy. That height clears low hatches and tight compartments where standard fixtures won't fit. The full footprint is 12" long by 5 1/2" wide.
Will the housing hold up in a salt environment?
Yes. The housing is 316 stainless steel, the marine grade that resists corrosion from salt air and washdowns. It's built for engine rooms, generator spaces, and other harsh below-deck areas.
Which color temperature should I choose?
Choose 5000K daylight white for a clean, natural work light. Choose 6500K cool white for a brighter, crisper look. Both give clear visibility for engine inspections and maintenance.
